# Amazon Firestick & Fire TV Setup Guide

The Amazon Fire TV Stick is the most popular IPTV hardware on the planet. Because it runs on an Android-based operating system, it allows you to install high-performance, premium third-party players like TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro.

Because premium IPTV players are not listed on the official Amazon Appstore, we must securely "sideload" them. This step-by-step guide will walk you through unlocking your Firestick and configuring your player.

### Part 1: Unlocking Your Firestick (Unhide Developer Options)

Amazon hides the settings required to install third-party applications by default. Follow this sequence exactly to unhide them:

**1.Navigate to Settings:**

Using your Firestick remote, go to the main home screen, scroll all the way to the right, and highlight the Settings Gear Icon.

Open My Fire TV

Step 2:

Scroll down through the settings tiles and click on My Fire TV. *(Note: On some Fire TV Smart TVs, this may be labeled "Device & Software".)*

Step &#x33;**.The 7-Click Secret Unlock**

Click on About. Highlight the very first line—which displays your exact device name (e.g., *Fire TV Stick 4K*)—and press the center Select button on your remote 7 times rapidly.

Confirm Developer ModeStep&#x20;

**Step 4.Confirm Developer Mode**

Keep clicking until a small toast notification pops up at the bottom of the screen saying: "No need, you are already a developer." Press the Back button on your remote once.

### Part 2: Installing the Downloader Utility

Now that your device is unlocked, you need an app that can safely fetch file packages from the web.

1. Press the Home button on your remote and navigate to the Find or Search icon (the magnifying glass).

### Part 4: Downloading Your IPTV Player

With permissions granted, you can now install your preferred IPTV interface client.

1. Open the Downloader app from your apps library. Click Allow if it asks for permission to access your device storage.

   <a class="button secondary">YouTube</a>
2. Click inside the main URL box on the home screen.
3. Enter the shortcode or web link provided by your supplier to download your app, then click Go:
   * *To install TiviMate:* Enter the official download URL or direct shortcode.
   * *To install IPTV Smarters Pro:* Enter the official player APK link.
4. The app file will download automatically. When it completes, click Install in the bottom right corner of the popup box.
5. Once installed, click Delete on the lingering installation package popup to safely save precious internal storage space on your Firestick.

> ℹ️ Next Step: Your player app is now sitting on your Firestick home screen! Open it up and proceed to Chapter 3: Connection Methods to learn how to plug in your Server URL, Username, and Password to launch your channel feeds.
