# Apple TV & iOS (iPhone/iPad) Setup Guide

Setting up IPTV on Apple hardware delivers a beautifully premium experience. The fast processors inside iPhones and Apple TV 4K boxes allow massive channel lists to render and scroll incredibly smoothly.

However, because typing long server links with an Apple TV remote control is notoriously difficult, the apps in the Apple ecosystem use a specialized syncing feature to make configuration easy.

### 📱 Option A: Smarters Player Lite (The Global Standard)

Smarters Player Lite is the most popular cross-platform choice for Apple users. It is completely free to download from the iOS and tvOS App Store.

#### Setting Up and Syncing Credentials

Because typing long links is a nightmare on Apple TV, you can use Apple's built-in ecosystem to copy/paste directly from your phone.

**1.Download the App:**Step 1.

Open the App Store on your Apple TV, iPhone, or iPad. Search for "Smarters Player Lite" (published by *WHMCS SMARTERS*) and install it.

**2.Turn on Apple Keyboard Sync:**Step 2.

Make sure your iPhone/iPad is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV, and that Bluetooth is turned on.

**3.Trigger the Remote Keyboard:**Step 3.

Open Smarters Player Lite on the Apple TV and click "Login with Xtream Codes API". The moment your Apple TV remote cursor highlights the text input field, a notification will pop up on your iPhone screen asking if you want to type using your mobile keyboard.

**4.Copy, Paste, and Connect:**Step 4.

Tap the notification on your iPhone. Copy the login credentials (Server URL, Username, and Password) straight from your provider's activation email or text, and paste them directly into the mobile field. Hit Login on your screen.

### 📺 Option B: iPlayTV (The Premium Apple TV Experience)

If you want an interface designed strictly for the big screen, iPlayTV is a paid app on the Apple TV App Store that looks stunning. It uses automated cloud database structures to fetch gorgeous artwork for your movies and TV shows.

#### The Ecosystem Sync (iCloud)

iPlayTV uses Apple's native iCloud Sync backbone. This means you only have to enter your playlist configuration details once on your mobile device, and it will silently push the setup to your TV.

1. Download iPlayTV or iPlayTV AIO onto both your iPhone and your Apple TV from the App Store.
2. Ensure both devices are logged into the exact same Apple ID and that iCloud is enabled for the app in your Apple system settings.
3. Open the app on your iPhone. Tap the `+` icon to add a playlist and select Xtream Codes or Remote M3U File.
4. Paste your login links comfortably on your phone, name the playlist, and tap save.
5. Launch iPlayTV on your Apple TV. The app will automatically run an iCloud handshake, pull down the playlist configurations, and immediately start syncing your live channels.

### 💡 Pro-Tip: The Universal Apple Clipboard Hack

If an IPTV app doesn't have a custom website or cloud upload portal, use Apple's Universal Clipboard. If your Mac or iPhone is near your Apple TV, you can simply click Copy on a text link on your phone, highlight the input box on your Apple TV, use your phone's Apple TV Remote App layout, and press Paste. The data will jump through the air seamlessly.
