# Smart TVs (Samsung & LG) Setup Guide

Setting up IPTV directly on a Samsung (Tizen OS) or LG (webOS) Smart TV is a great way to enjoy your channels without plugging in any extra streaming sticks or external boxes.

Because the built-in operating systems on these TVs cannot handle typing or caching massive file playlists easily, they use a clever "Middleman Website" system. Instead of typing a long URL with your TV remote, you use your smartphone or computer to upload your playlist link to the app's online dashboard, which instantly pushes the channels directly to your TV.

### Step 1: Install the Player App on Your TV

First, you need to download a compatible "shell" player app from your TV’s native app ecosystem.

1. Turn on your TV and open the app store:
 * Samsung TVs: Press the Home button and open the Apps store.
 * LG TVs: Press the Home button and open the LG Content Store (or Apps tab).
2. Navigate to the search bar and look for one of these top-tier, widely supported Smart TV apps:
 * Smart IPTV (The classic standard, recognizable by its pink/blue logo)
 * IBO Player or SmartOne IPTV (Modern, fast-loading alternatives)
3. Click Install or Download.

### Step 2: Locate Your TV's In-App MAC Address

The key to connecting your subscription to your specific television is a unique hardware identifier called a MAC Address or Device ID.

1. Launch the newly installed app on your TV.
2. On the very first screen, the app will display your device's unique MAC Address. It will look like a string of letters and numbers separated by colons (e.g., `A1:B2:C3:D4:E5:F6`).
3. Take a photo of this screen with your phone or write the MAC address down accurately.

> ℹ️ Note: If the app boots to a blank screen saying "No Playlist Found," look for a button labeled Settings or Device Info on your TV remote to bring the MAC address back up on the screen.

### Step 3: Upload Your Playlist via the External Website

Now, move away from your TV and open a web browser on your phone, tablet, or computer. You will use the app's official management website to link your credentials.

**1.Navigate to the App's Management Portal:**Prerequisite.

Open your web browser and go to the official URL management site for the app you installed:

* *For Smart IPTV:* Go to `[https://siptv.app/mylist/](https://siptv.app/mylist/)`
* *For IBO Player:* Go to `[https://iboplayer.com/](https://iboplayer.com/)` (or the specific link shown on your TV screen)

**2.Enter Your TV's Identity:**Step 2.

Locate the section labeled "Upload external playlist links". In the MAC or Device ID input field, type in the exact alphanumeric string you copied from your TV screen.

**3.Paste Your M3U Subscription URL:**Step 3.

In the box labeled URL, paste the long M3U playlist link provided in your IPTV activation message.

**4.Lock the Settings and Send:**Step 4.

Check the box that says "Save online" or "Keep Check" (this ensures your TV guide automatically updates whenever the server refreshes). Complete the "I am not a robot" security reCAPTCHA, and click the Send, Add Link, or Submit button.

### Step 4: Reload Your TV Screen

Once the website says "Success" or "1 Link Added," your job on the computer is done.

1. Grab your TV remote and close out of the app completely, or simply click the Restart / Reload button on your screen (often mapped to the `0` or `Blue` key depending on the app's layout).
2. The app will flash a "Loading data..." status bar as it pulls down the channel files from the cloud portal.
3. Within 30 to 60 seconds, your complete channel groupings, movie libraries, and TV Guide (EPG) grids will load onto your screen, ready to browse!

> ⚠️ Critical App Activation Tip: Apps like Smart IPTV, IBO Player, and SmartOne are independently developed software players. Most of them offer a 7-day free trial. Once that trial ends, the app itself will block your screen and ask for a small, one-time activation fee (usually around €5.00) to unlock the software permanently. This software activation fee goes directly to the app developers on their respective websites, and is completely separate from your actual IPTV channel subscription feed.
